Stevenages caretaker manager Darren Sarll stands a good chance of being given the job permanently, according to Sky sources. He will take charge of the Sky Bet League 2 team for the first time on Saturday when they host Crawley Town following the sacking of Teddy Sheringham on Monday after a run of eight matches without a victory.Sarll was appointed first-team coach at Stevenage last June having spent three years as the clubs head of youth and is highly thought of at the club.
