Greg Rutherford admits he is very disappointed after being forced to pull out of Saturdays Indoor Grand Prix in Glasgow. The Olympic and world long jump champion, who broke the British indoor record with a leap of 8.26 metres in Albuquerque earlier this month, has revealed a small muscle tear put paid to his chances of competing at the Emirates Arena.Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ he said: We are doing everything we possibly can to make sure it heals quickly and I am seeing my physio daily to get on with that. Im very, very disappointed to not be jumping this weekend - it was going to be a fantastic competition. Glasgow has some special memories for me with the Commonwealth Games and everything else.It would have been nice to have been there, but these things happen and ultimately Ive got an Olympic Games to think about and I cant do anything silly. The 29-year-old was due to face Paralympic long jump champion Markus Rehm and the head-to-head had been highly anticipated. The German Paralympian hopes to compete in this summers Olympics, but will need to prove he does not gain any advantage with his prosthetic blade. Greg Rutherford speaks to Sky Sports News after becoming only the fifth British athlete in history to hold all four major titles at the same time In 2014, Rehm became the first athlete with an impairment to compete in the final of an event at the able-bodied German Championships, winning the long jump with a distance of 8.24m.Rutherford described Rehms achievements as out of this world and believes his determination to compete at the Olympics is great for his event and sport. We are all thinking it will be great if he has an opportunity, he added. We just have to wait and see. Theres obviously all the controversy about testing it and everything else.Ultimately I think hes just an athlete who wants to get out there and do as well as he possibly can. If they go through all the formalities and its all great, then maybe Ill see him at the Olympics. Also See:Results & Medal TablePhoto GalleriesTeam GBZapatillas Yeezy Baratas Outlet . Relegated the next.It has only ever happened to one team in the highest division of English football -- Manchester City in 1937-38 -- so Leicester is trying to avoid an unwanted piece of history this season. At the start of a week when the team from central England could clinch a place in the last 16 of the Champions League, it is Leicesters form in the Premier League that is possibly the biggest talking point.A 3-1 loss to Watford on Saturday left Leicester in 14th place in the 20-team league and just two points above the bottom three. No one foresaw Claudio Ranieris team winning the Premier League last season -- the pre-season odds on that happening were 5,000-1 -- but its rapid fall from grace is taking many by surprise, too.The relegation is very close to us and we have to react, Ranieri said after the loss to Watford. I expected difficulties, but not so strong. On Monday, Ranieri dismissed a suggestion that his players have been distracted by competing in the Champions League.I dont think its a distraction, its enjoyment, Ranieri said at a news conference ahead of the home match against Club Brugge on Tuesday. I dont see the difference.Yet, in five Premier Leaague matches played the weekend before a Champions League game, Leicester has collected just one point.dddddddddddd Leicester has already lost six games in the league, which is double the number of losses from last seasons title-winning campaign. If you see the match against Watford and the match against Copenhagen or Brugge or Porto, its the same, Ranieri said. The difference is in the Champions League matches we score, in the other matches no.Our focus is this: Try to win tomorrow and then go back into the Premier League and try to improve our table. Yes, of course I have to work harder, everyone has to work harder.Leicester was fortunate to be drawn in one of the weaker Champions League groups and the team has made the most of it, winning three games, drawing the other and conceding no goals. The Foxes only need a point on Tuesday to be sure of a place in the knockout stage, allowing the focus to switch entirely to the teams league form -- at least until February. Our fairytale is continuing, Ranieri said. We did something special last season and were doing it again this season. ' ' '
