KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Sporting Kansas City acquired midfielder Jimmy Medranda from Colombias Deportivo Pereira on Thursday for an undisclosed transfer fee and signed him to a multi-year contract. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. Medranda will join the defending MLS champions in time for the Disney Pro Soccer Classic and occupy one of their international roster spots.
