SAN ANTONIO - Authorities say former San Antonio Spurs player Alvin Robertson has been arrested after cutting off a GPS monitor while out on bond in a 2009 case.The Bexar County Sheriffs Office says 52-year-old Robertson was arrested Monday afternoon at a San Antonio apartment complex. Officials say hed been on the run since Jan. 5.Sheriffs officials say Robertson, a former NBA All-Star whose career ended in 1996, was out on bond in a 2009 case in which he was initially charged with trafficking of a person less than 18 for prostitution. Hed been released from jail Dec. 12 and was required to wear the monitor.Robertsons attorney, Brent de la Paz, says his client, who proclaims his innocence, is frustrated with delays in the case. The Maple Leafs had won five of six right before the hiatus and the club is 11-2-1 over its last 14 games.With 70 points, the Maple Leafs are currently holding on to the seventh of eight playoff spots in the East. Toronto also is just one point in back of both Tampa Bay and Montreal for second place in the Atlantic Division.
